It may be officially inspired by American culture and New England's industrial age but Mayflower Supply's debut collection of vintage treats reminds me more of our own English countryside. Cropped Arran knits, tartan kilts, denim skirts, ankle socks and Emily's cute-meets-grunge plaits instantly evoke visions of 1940's war-time evacuees. Liz has carefully hand-picked a vintage collection that reminds her why she fell in love with vintage clothing in the first place; the "direct connection to the past".
