Transition

Transitional dressing is always a tricky business. You're bored of your thick woollen knits and tights but there's no way you can step out in the morning frost in your favourite summer's dress.

The solution? Layering. My current favourite looks all involve dungarees, overalls and pinafores, or peter-pan collars poking out from beneath knits.

Complete the look by adding a floppy wide-brimmed hat, ankle boots and if weather permits, ankle socks in replacement of tights.
